Alcohol-Based Ink Removal

Alcohol-based inks may require the use of isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol). Apply a small amount directly to the stain, blotting gently from the outside in. Pigment-based inks are notoriously difficult to remove completely. Detergents, stain removers, and even solvents may prove ineffective. Professional cleaning may be the most viable option.
